I also want to play in IPL 2021 – Cheteshwar Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara, the great batsman of the Indian Test team wants to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) once again. Friends, let me tell you that this time Cheteshwar Pujara has registered his name for auction in this world’s biggest T20 league.

Friends, let me tell you that 33-year-old Pujara has given his name for the auction many times before but since 2014 he has been continuously unsold, it is very sad that no team bought him.

Pujara said that he will do his full power this year to be a part of this league. They are just looking for a smoke. Pujara said I have full faith in myself that I will do very well in this league and will lead my team to victory.

Pujara last played for Kings XI Punjab in 2014. After this, even though he kept his prize very low, no franchisee of this league had expressed their desire to buy him. But still, Pujara with strong intentions has not given up despite not being a part of this league for the last 6 seasons and he has given his name for the auction this time too.

Cheteshwar Pujara’s IPL career

Let me tell you one more thing that Pujara started his IPL career in 2010 on behalf of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). After this, he played for the next 3 seasons (2011-13) for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and again in 2014, he played for Kings XI Punjab.

But it was a matter of great sadness that Punjab had removed them after one season and Pujara has not been a part of this T20 league since then. Pujara has played only 30 matches in IPL so far, in which his name is recorded to score 390 runs at a strike rate of 99.74. During this period, Pujara’s average has been 20.53.

Many people have to say that Pujara is a peaceful batting player, therefore many people have to say that Pujara is not a suitable batsman for this shortest format of cricket that can help his team win.
